Elliot Rodger here. Here I am at Serrania Park. (sigh) Most significant place of my childhood. My parents used to take me here when I was six years old, and that was when we first moved to the U.S. I have some very happy memories here, running in those fields, playing in that playground. That’s where my father taught me how to swing. It still looks exactly the same. Here I am, almost 17 years later.
(dog barks) Woman: He’s suspicious of your camera, I think.
Elliot: Oh (laughs).
Woman: Ehh, it’s alright.
Elliot: Is he friendly?
Woman: Yeah, normally he is, but he’s a little worried about your camera (laughs).
Elliot: Oh, that’s okay.
Wow, all those memories are coming back to me now. What a special place.
(laughs) I used to climb this tree. It looks so small now. It’s because I’m all grown-up.
